I spotted this well equipped Jeep in the parking lot of a restaurant in Dallas, Texas and hung around until the owner showed up so I could get the information. You can’t see much detail from this picture but the black top and red body are expertly covered with spray on bedliner material. With matte paint jobs all the rage this takes that look one step farther to ultra utilitarian. Spray on bedliner material is pretty much scratch proof so it wouldn’t matter how narrow the two trackers or how thick the bush.
I am wondering if my favorite bedliner guys, Inyati, can do the same thing here because I would hate to have to drive all the way to Texas to do my truck. Anyway, Camoliner did a nice job on this guys Wrangler but it didn’t come cheap. He said the job cost him $3800 bucks for everything including the black top and fenders.
I am starting to get the itch for a Jeep again. I am thinking about a four door Rubicon with the new engine, white Freedom Top over white body, a little lift and maybe a few other upgrades. Spray on paint protection to eliminate the dreaded Sonoran pinstriping would be awesome. We will see how my year goes.
