Leg loops to go with your instructor belt. It’s from CMC so you can count on it.
If your mission occasionally requires you to tie in to get the job done but it doesn’t happen enough to require a full harness rig then you might very well appreciate this product from CMC. They been around for a long time and pay close attention to what their customers are doing and what they want so trust me, you can count on their stuff. I certainly have.
This set of leg loops will fit into your pack without taking up much space or weight and it will go nicely with whatever you happen to be using for a swami as long as it is rated.
Here is the CMC catalog description.
“These quick attaching leg loops extend the versatility of the Uniform Rappel Belt. More comfortable than a hasty harness tied out of one-inch tubular web, the leg loops allow you to turn your belt into a comfortable harness for that unexpected rappel or helicopter evacuation. Connect the steel Half Moon Quick Link around the rappel belt to attach the leg loops in the front. Hook-and-loop straps provide waist attachment points for the adjusting straps at the back of the legs. Adjustable leg loops with leg pads provide superb comfort. Includes Quick Link connector combining the Rappel Belt and Leg Loops. When used together, the belt passes through the Quick Link, which becomes the primary attachment point for helicopter hoists or for emergency rappels.”
