My first Overland Expo. Rigs, rigs, and more rigs of all kinds. I was amazed at how money is tied up in these vehicles.
I-17 Northbound was backed up, they were chip sealing Lake Mary Road (that’s another story), and it was very windy but the temperature was a perfect 70 degress. We had a nice time. Here are a bunch of pics for you to check out.
It was nice to run into Hill People Gear again. Good guys doing something they love. True enthusiasts. The kind of company I like to help promote because they are doing it for the right reasons and are still unsullied by the industry. Thanks for making the trip gentlemen and keep making great gear, the gear you want to use when you are out there.
This is their new Connor Pack. Check it out.
I really enjoy browsing these vehicles. They are big, equipped, and look very capable. I can’t help but wonder though what I would do with what I call the “big white monster” class of truck.
My goal was to figure out which tire would be best for my Range Rover Sport. I talked to the Overland Journal guys, the Land Rover corporate guys, the BF Goodrich reps, and I looked at every Land Rover vehicle I came across and nothing definitive. I can’t be the only Range Rover driver having this problem.
