Outdoor Research Gaitors - Now In Camo And Coyote
I have been a big fan of Crocodile Gaitors from Outdoor Research for a long time. In fact, I used the same pair for something like 15 years until they finally wore out and I broke down and replaced them...with another pair of OR Crocodiles!
Now, I don't want to make myself out to be more influential then I really am in this business, truth is I am just another voice in the crowd, but I am on the right side of a lot of key issues. This is another case in point. I have been telling the folks at OR that they need to offer some of their outstanding products, like these gaitors, to non-governmental consumers in the same colors they offer to the military. Like Coyote tan slash brown and Multicam camouflage. My point to them has been that OR would sell more product and increase market share if civilian hunters had access to the stealthy versions. That is a win win right? They sell more stuff and we get the best gear in colors we want.
Well, it took a little longer than I would have liked and near as I can tell they are only available from US Calvary but who cares. You can now get the regular Crocodiles and the even the beefier Expedition Crocodile Gaitors in Coyote and Multicam camo. Very cool.
