Corps Strength - Fitness As A Way Of Life
What do you need to be successful in the field? The top two on the list are the ones that are most often taken for granted if not forgotten altogether. A sound mind and a healthy, physically fit body.
To that end I would like to introduce you to a site I have been following for a few months. Corps Strength is a web site that continues what the book by the same name started. It is run by a retired United States Marine, Master Gunnery Sergeant Paul J. Roarke.
The book and the site are a no non-sense but entertaining approach to physical fitness, good nutrition and a full life from a pretty damn good example of what I think a man should be when he does it right. A husband, father, warrior, teacher, thinker, doer. This is a good guy, a go getter that figured out a way to stay sharp and on track.
Well done Master Gunny and since my father is one I think it's OK if I say...Semper Fi Marine. And thank you for 28 years of service to this country.
Best regards,
Thanks.
