GREAT GEAR RECOMMENDATION - RoadID Personal ID Tags

RoadID products are a simple yet effective way to carry critical information with you all the time. It speaks for you when you can't speak for yourself. Out on the trail or traveling cross country on business, it could save your sorry ass one day. Get one.
Look at any of my gear lists and you will see something called a Personal Information Card or PIC. I always carry one with me because I know from personal experience how important good patient information is to first responders. Ever tried to complete an encounter form when your patient is unresponsive and nobody else is around? Mine are home made laminated ones that aren't very cool and sometimes I forget to throw one in my bag or pack. PICs are no good to anyone if you don't have one when you need it. RoadID has a number of products that will do a much better job.
I have been wearing the Original Wrist ID Slim model for weeks now and I like it so much I ordered some for my family and friends. I prefer the Slim to their other products because it is very simple, comfortable, durable, tasteful, it fits easily under a long sleeve dress shirt and it won't get smelly when worn all day everyday which means I won't have a chance to forget it. Better still, it is only $15 bucks which is cheap insurance especially for those of us that spend a lot of time out there on our own. Savvy?
And by "out there" I'm not just talking about the wilderness. The RoadID would be as valuable to me in the Four Seasons gym at 1 in the morning as it would be running the Christiansen Trail in the Preserve. Accidents and medical emergencies happen anywhere, anytime so be prepared or suffer the consequences...meat.
EDITORS NOTE - There is a safety issue to consider and an advantage to the Slim model. If you get it caught on something or hung up in some way you can pull back, slip out of it or even break it since it is just rubber.
Thanks.
