Made To Order - Schoeller Cloth Pants

I don't normally do this sort of thing because I like to thoroughly test a new product before I start promoting it but I was so excited about the prospect of these made to order back country pants I couldn't help myself.  I know what you are thinking.  How does he get excited about pants?  What kind of a pathetic existence does this guy lead?

Two reasons for my giddiness.  When you are built like I am it is very hard to find off the rack stuff that fits.  That goes double for outdoor wear.  I am used to paying extra for business suits and dress slacks that have to be altered but that is not usually an option for wilderness wear.  The other reason I am so fired up is that these folks use Schoeller Cloth
for many of their items.  If you are not a climber or mountaineer you may not know what this stuff is.  Find an REI and ask somebody to show you something made out of Schoeller cloth.  It comes in several different configurations and thicknesses but all of it is tough as hell, stretchy and shrugs off water and wind.  It is fantastic stuff.

I was doing a Google search and came across a site for a company called Beyond Clothing
.  I got to looking around and found that they do a lot of customized outdoor clothing pieces and use Schoeller products.  I sent them a skeptical email questioning their ability to fit "husky" guys like me.  I got a nice response from Joy and I will be sending her all of my measurements for a pair of Cold Play Shock Pants and Advantage BDUs

We'll see how it goes.

Thanks.
